I love these outfits, but you might want to add a word of caution. Native American costume might be okay for a child, but I think adults should stray away as they're generally considered pretty offensive

I'm wondering if non-Orthodox Jews in the 1930s would wear non-traditional costumes for Purim. In other words, would some children have worn American-style Halloween costumes or dressed up, say like the President on Purim, or would they have only worn the traditional Moredechai, Esther, Haman costumes, etc. Thanks. This is for a fiction story I am writing.

In England nobody has ever met a Native American but little boys like dressing in Indian costumes for parties because they think Indians are really cool, even though they don't really know much about them. Kids play games of Cowboys and Indians but actually everyone wants to be the Indians. When I was a kid we had to bribe a few kids to be the cowboys by giving them all our sweets. (In England Cowboy is a derogatory/insulting term for someone who is completely incompetent at their job or who is trying to rip you off).

I have a cute and handsome husband and I want him to sport Native American Halloween costume this year. He is a business man and doesn’t wish to look or go cool especially in the public sphere. But I gave him a surprise gift on his birthday by gifting a Native American Halloween costume and he could not resist any more. Well, for me I have chosen an equivalent conservative Native American costume one that has slits till upper thighs. Fingers crossed for this Halloween!!

you will see many Native American costumes in either combos of skirt-and-shirt or one-piece dresses. Think along the lines of the dress worn by Pocahontas in the cartoon movie.
